My Professional Journey

„From the final years of my university studies, I have been deeply immersed in exploring the psychological foundations of exceptional performance. This focus guided my work as a school psychologist and teacher-researcher in higher education. My initial thesis laid the groundwork for understanding effective learning and teaching, while my doctoral research, completed in 2008, delved into learning motivation.

Throughout the early 2010s, I observed that motivation and performance are profoundly influenced by the learning environment and school atmosphere. This realization prompted me to adopt a systems perspective in my research. I explored how creative climates, perseverance, mindset, and executive functions impact motivation and performance. This research underscored the significance of a positive psychological approach in fostering both performance and well-being.

Since then, my work has been guided by a positive psychological framework, emphasizing strengths, psychological capital, and the identification and development of individual and environmental resources. My habilitation thesis, accepted in 2022, addressed the positive psychological dimensions of talent management. Currently, as an associate professor at the Department of Counseling and School Psychology at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, I continue to teach and conduct research in this field.

As a mother of three, my personal experience fuels my professional passion and energy. Balancing the demands of family life with a career dedicated to education, I bring a deep, empathetic understanding to my work. My devotion to children and students drives me to integrate theory with practice, leading me to design and implement comprehensive school interventions.

In addition to my academic responsibilities, I actively work with schools to design and implement interventions that foster a positive learning environment and enhance overall performance. My passion for combining research with practical application drives my commitment to both my professional and personal pursuits.”
